GSTREAM // AUTOMOTIVE VISUAL INSPECTION

Spot recurring defects. Give your team the evidence.

Connect camera footage to defect alerts, photo evidence, and a searchable inspection history—so your quality team can see what happened and decide what to do next.

DEMO

See the operator workflow

Follow a part through inspection, see rejected parts with photo evidence, and review the event history and rejection trends.

This demonstration uses labeled sample images to illustrate the operator workflow. Detection performance must be validated on your actual parts and camera footage.

OPERATOR VIEW

What the operator can see

Photo alerts

A rejected part is shown with its image, timestamp, and line reference for operator review.

Recent rejects

The latest rejected parts remain visible, helping an operator returning to the station understand what happened.

Inspection history

Browse recorded inspections, filter rejected parts, and open the associated photo evidence.

Rejection trends

See how rejection rates change over time and when repeated rejects need attention.

The demo distinguishes OK from defective parts; it does not identify specific defect subtypes.

PROCESS

Start with the defect that matters on your line.

01

Define the target

Your quality team identifies the component, defect, and acceptance criteria, with examples of acceptable and defective parts.

02

Validate on your footage

We assess visibility, camera angle, lighting, and motion, then evaluate detection against examples confirmed by your quality team.

03

Track and review

Once validated, detections can be recorded over time, with photo evidence and alerts configured around your escalation process.

Tracking the recurrence of a specific defect requires identifying that defect type. The demo's recurring-reject warning groups rejected parts together.

INTEGRATION

Fitting into your existing setup

PROPOSED ARCHITECTURE

Existing cameras
Local processingNVIDIA Jetson Orin
Photo alerts & inspection events
Cloud-based daily summaries
Operator review / existing QC software

Daily summaries are a separate branch from recorded events. The scope of any cloud sharing is agreed during integration.

CAMERAS

Existing IP camera feeds can be connected through RTSP, using ONVIF for supported camera discovery and configuration. GMSL cameras require a dedicated integration with compatible interface hardware and drivers.

LOCAL PROCESSING

The proposed system runs video analysis locally on NVIDIA Jetson Orin hardware.

QC AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS

Events can be delivered through HTTP webhooks, made available through an API, or connected to quality management and CRM systems, depending on their available interfaces and the required workflow.

DAILY SUMMARIES

Cloud-based AI vision models can generate daily summaries from recorded event information and selected visual evidence, with the scope of cloud sharing agreed during integration.

These are solution capabilities and integration options. Live camera connections, external notifications, CRM integrations, and cloud summaries are not running inside the sample video.

Which defect would you like to catch?

Tell us which automotive component or recurring defect you want to inspect. A few example images or a short video from your line will help us assess whether the defect is visible enough to detect reliably and what is feasible with your existing cameras.

  • Component and defect description
  • Examples of acceptable and defective parts
  • Camera model or sample footage
  • Current QC process and preferred alert destination

Send us a message and we'll arrange how to share your materials.
